The veneer procedure

The process of placing veneers on the teeth is straightforward and only involves a few office visits. Once you decide to move forward with the procedure, a second appointment can be scheduled. During this second appointment, impressions and images are taken of the teeth for fabrication of the veneers. In addition, an ultra-small portion of the enamel will need to be removed from the teeth to allow the veneers to fit properly. There may be minimal sensitivity after this process.

Placement of the veneers is done on the third appointment. Dr. Cobb will verify the color and fit is right and then bond them on to the front of the teeth. A special curing light is used to harden the bonding agent.
